Nicola McBride MSc, BA(Hons), Pg Dip, Pg Cert

Nicky McBride

Nicola works as a Personal Coach, Executive Coach and Mediator.

After leaving university in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, I started my career in the finance sector before working within the management consultancy sphere.  In 2004, I supported my consultancy work with a postgraduate diploma in Psychology, taking a special interest in organisational commitment, job satisfaction and employee turnover.

Since the completion of my Pg Dip in 2005 I went on to consult for several organisations, start-ups and entrepreneurs in the UK, the US and the Middle East, as well as starting a family and raising two children.

After several years of living in the US and the Middle East, in 2012 I returned to London and obtained an MSc in Organisational Behaviour/Occupational Psychology.  I once again found myself drawn to researching what makes us happy and committed at work, especially in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.

In 2015 I gained my Executive Coaching diploma as well as training in Mediation and Dispute Resolution.

Over the last decade, I have worked as a coach and mediator to numerous individuals, businesses, start-ups, executives and entrepreneurs both here in UK and in the Middle East.  My work has varied from coaching CEOs and other senior-level executives at large multinational corporations, to working with small companies looking to gain the most from their staff.  I have also enjoyed coaching stay-at-home parents, students and retirees.

As part of my coaching, I enjoy teaching leadership and listening skills and have worked as a behaviour analyst for several companies and individuals, helping them understand and decode non-verbal communication.

In recent years, I have moved some of my work into the personal coaching and mediation space.  I enjoy helping individuals, couples and families overcome, accept and sometimes embrace life's difficulties.  I am very interested in communication, cycles of abuse and healing.  As a result, I am concluding a second MSc in Psychology with research into abuse, anxiety and stress.  I now enjoy helping people across all areas of their lives, both at home and at work.

I currently live and work in both London and Dubai.
